Born in Germany, Carina fell in love with Botswana several years ago, consequently moving to Maun six years ago. Having studied international hotel management in the UK, she previously specialized in Marketing and Sales in up-market hotels in Europe. Carina’s passion for the African wilderness has motivated her to share her love of Botswana with others through their travels, making their dreams come true. 

Lorraine Potter
Director, specialised in Botswana & Mozambique
Born in Africa, Lorraine settled in Botswana in 1992. Having studied marketing in South Africa, she began working for a small mobile safari company and played a vital role in growing the company into one of the better known luxury safari operators in Botswana. Lorraine continues to spend her time discovering Botswana’s wildlife and landscapes in her spare time. Combined with 8 years industry experience, she is ideally equipped to fulfill yours clients travel requirements.

Karin Bullock
Sales Manager, specialised in Zambia, joined us in September 2007
After qualifying as a physiotherapist Karin moved to the bush of Zululand and worked for CC Africa for 9 years starting in the curio shop at Phinda’s Mountain Lodge, working her way up to General Manager at Ngala Lodge near the Kruger National Park. In Jan 2000 Karin joined Kwando Safaris as a camp manager at Songwe Village in Zambia. In August 2001, she moved to their head office in Maun, taking over the position of sales and reservations manager where she has been for the past 7 years.

Karen Dance
Reservations Manager, joined us in June 2008
Karen is a true native to Botswana.  She has lived in Botswana her entire life, having worked in the Travel Industry for the past 7 years in both Botswana as well as in the UK. Living in Maun together with her energy to travel, Karen has had the opportunity to visit and experience most destinations and properties within Botswana. As a result of Karen’s travels, you will receive knowledgeable advice in as much detail as possible when planning your African Safari.

Kay Potter
Travel Consultant, joined the Safari Destinations team in November 2008
British Born and moved to Botswana in 1976: 20 years involved in the Botswana tourism industry. Traveled extensively throughout Botswana either for her own enjoyment or part of a Mobile Safari team.
