Nature enthusiasts call the Okavango Delta Africa's last paradise. The Okavango Delta is the world's largest unspoilt Delta. Fed by the Okavango River, which origins in the highlands of Angola as the Cubango.

A prosperity of wildlife including a mere 400 species of birds, make the Okavango Delta with its Moremi Game Reserve to one of the best wilderness areas in Southern Africa.

The camps and lodges in the Delta vary in their offer of activities. Some lodges are situated on an island, offering mainly mokoro excurions (the traditional dug-out canoe) and guided walks. Camps & Lodges:

Mombo, Chiefs, Jao and Vumbura Plains are among Africa's best and most luxurious camps.

Camps like Shinde Kwara, Little Kwara, Pom Pom, Kanana are some of the few that offer "all" activities.

Water based camps are Eagle Island, Xigera, Jacana, Xugana, Camp Okavango, Gunns Camp..., they offer mainly mokoros and guided walks.
